Chairman Ron Allen (Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe) invites ATNI Member Tribes to participate in a Call to Action and Q&A Session for the General Welfare Exclusion recommendations.

The Tribal General Welfare Exclusion Act prevents the taxation of tribal benefits by the IRS.  The Treasury Tribal Advisory created by the Act includes a subcommittee that has developed policy guidance to recommend to the Treasury Department.  Your input is needed to ensure that this guidance reflects input from Tribal leaders.

This session is designed to answer questions and solicit comments on the draft report prior to its submission on June 16, 2021.
